# What does this implement/fix? A single item that Tidal returns in a form we cannot read discarded the whole list it was part of. That covers an album's tracks, an artist's albums and top tracks, and the similar tracks and artists behind radio mode - one odd item and the list came back as "not found" instead of "one track short". On an album big enough to span several pages, the tracks already collected from the earlier pages were thrown away as well. The same walk also turned a connection failure halfway through into "album not found", so a list that simply failed to load looked exactly like a list that is genuinely gone. **Related issue (if applicable):** - n/a ## Types of changes - [ ] Bugfix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue) — `bugfix` - [ ] New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality) — `new-feature` - [ ] Enhancement to an existing feature — `enhancement` - [ ] New music/player/metadata/plugin provider — `new-provider` - [ ] Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to not work as expected) — `breaking-change` - [ ] Refactor (no behaviour change) — `refactor` - [ ] Documentation only — `documentation` - [x] Maintenance / chore — `maintenance` - [ ] CI / workflow change — `ci` - [ ] Dependencies bump — `dependencies` ## Changes - An item we cannot read is skipped and logged, and the rest of the list still loads, for album tracks, artist albums, artist top tracks, similar tracks and similar artists, search results, and the favourites playlist. - A failure to fetch a page is passed on instead of being reported as a missing album or artist, so a truncated list is never taken for the real one. An album that is genuinely gone is still reported as not found. ## Checklist - [x] The code change is tested and works locally. - [x] `pre-commit run --all-files` passes. - [x] `pytest` passes, and tests have been added/updated under `tests/` where applicable. - [ ] For changes to shared models, the companion PR in `music-assistant/models` is linked. - [ ] For changes affecting the UI, the companion PR in `music-assistant/frontend` is linked. - [x] I have read and complied with the project's [AI Policy](https://github.com/music-assistant/.github/blob/main/AI_POLICY.md) for any AI-assisted contributions. - [ ] I have [raised a PR against the documentation repository](https://github.com/music-assistant/music-assistant.io/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md) targeting the main or beta branch as appropriate.
