Music Assistant now mixes crossfades itself for Spotify and any other realtime or slow source, instead of delegating them to the source's own engine. Every track's audio is delivered clean from its first sample, so waveforms, beat grids and light sync stay aligned with what you hear, and smart fades work on Spotify streams for the first time. - The Spotify Soloist engine always plays with its own crossfade off. - A fade sizes itself from what the source delivered ahead of playback, so a realtime session, a slow provider or a seek near the end of a track all get the fade they can afford. - Crossfades stream: blended audio is delivered while the incoming track is still arriving. - Smart fades act on a dynamic window between 8 and 45 seconds. - The queue's track and progress display follows the audio exactly through a mixed boundary.
