# What does this implement/fix? The Spotify Soloist backend runs one playback session per queue and feeds it one track ahead. Its per-item audio channels were identified by Spotify URI alone, so a track queued twice in a row collided with itself: the second occurrence was never handed to the engine and had to cold-start a whole new session. A queue reordered after the feed cost the same. **Related issue (if applicable):** - n/a ## Changes - Audio channels are now per occurrence rather than per track, so the same track twice in a row plays on without a break. - A next item the session was not fed — the queue was reordered, or the user picked something else — is queued and skipped to instead of respawning the engine. - Repeating a single track no longer queues a copy of the track the queue replays itself. - A jump on a live session gives up after 5s rather than 30s, so a fresh session still starts within the time the queue waits for audio. - Corrected the provider README, which still claimed a guard for repeated tracks that no longer existed. ## Types of changes <!-- Tick exactly one box.
