# What does this implement/fix? A continuous (flow) stream is already handed to a player at roughly playback rate, but a single queue item was served as fast as the player could pull it — many times faster than it is listened to. A single item now gets a burst that fills the player's buffer straight away and then runs a few times faster than playback, which keeps every player comfortably ahead while making a bulk pull take about as long as listening would.
