# What does this implement/fix? Canceling a provider's in-flight analysis finalizes before its models are freed, so a provider reload, disable/remove or shutdown can no longer free the models out from under a running analysis. Also corrects the Smart Fades comments that blamed this race on an idle unload. **Related issue (if applicable):** ## Types of changes <!-- Tick exactly one box.
