# What does this implement/fix? Editing a local `album.nfo`, `artist.nfo` or folder image (`folder.jpg`, `cover.jpg`, `fanart.jpg`, …) did not update an album or artist that was already in the library. The filesystem sync only scanned audio/playlist/CUE files and skipped unchanged tracks, so an NFO/image-only edit was never noticed. This affected the local, SMB, NFS, WebDAV and cloud filesystem providers. The music sync now notices those metadata-file changes and refreshes the affected item: - During the existing folder scan, NFO/image files are recognized alongside audio files (no extra network/API calls). - Whenever album/artist parsing reads an `album.nfo`, `artist.nfo` or folder image, a small cache entry is stored with its change token and one representative track that can rebuild the item. - On the next sync, if a recognized file's token changed since it was last read, its representative track is reprocessed to refresh the album/artist — without reparsing every track in the folder. - WebDAV keeps its original last-modified checksum for tracks and adds a separate ETag-based token just for change detection on these files, so imported media stay untouched. **Tradeoff:** this covers edits to metadata files that were already read at least once. Newly added or deleted NFO/images aren't auto-detected — use "Refresh item" or a reimport to pick those up. **Related issue (if applicable):** - N/A ## Types of changes <!-- Tick exactly one box.
