# What does this implement/fix? Album title identity was decided in two places that disagreed with each other. The comparer ignored a trailing symbol, so `MOTOMAMI` and `MOTOMAMI +` looked like the same album — and because that was a confident match, no tracklist check ran and one of the two library rows was merged away. Ed Sheeran's `+`, `=` and `÷` are the same class of title. In the other direction, the duplicate-repair task matched on the stored name, which keeps the ` - EP` that Apple Music appends, so those pairs never reached the comparer at all.
