# What does this implement/fix?
Follow-up to #5600, which added a low-latency WAV preference for live
sources (e.g. Spotify Connect) and enabled it by default for Cast and
Sonos.
- Squeezelite and native MPD players now also default to WAV for live
sources, since they handle it well
- Squeezelite's sync-group playback now applies this preference per
member, falling back to that member's configured codec when disabled
- Clarified the WAV wording in the config UI ("uncompressed PCM audio in
a WAV container") so it's less ambiguous
